COVID-19 Information

January 25, 2022 (Announcement on changes in the period during which a COVID-19 negative certificate is valid):
The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population has announced that a negative certificate must be "within 72 hours before arrival in Egypt".
○ COVID-19 negative proof that the sample was collected during the specified period [Important: Please check the above items] is required.
○ Negative proof is exempted if you are under 12 years old or if you have a COVID-19 vaccination certificate with QR code (conditions apply).
○ Negative proof is "date and time of sample collection", "specimen type by wiping solution using a cotton swab (separate collection site such as pharynx and nose) (*)", "test by specified method" [Important: Please check the link for the above item] "is printed on paper (hard copy) in English or Arabic. (* Saliva testing is not included in the approved testing methods.)
○ Negative proof must be stamped by the laboratory (in this case, it must be the original) or have a QR code.
* Please check in advance whether there are any COVID-19 related procedures at the transit point.
